The Elderly Care and End-of-Life/Palliative Care Services Course aims to meet the urgent needs of Hong Kong society for elderly care and end-of-life/palliative care services. Through in-depth exploration of topics such as elderly care, estate planning, elderly law, end-of-life care, psychological and social support, and professional ethics, this course is committed to cultivating students' professional knowledge and skills in elderly care and end-of-life services.

3. The course does not offer make-up classes, and it is recommended that you make arrangements in advance to avoid time conflicts. If the course is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, the school will arrange a refund; otherwise, refunds will not be given.
4. If you enroll online, after completing the payment, you will receive a payment confirmation email from the system. Please keep this email for future reference.
5. The above time and location are tentative and subject to change.
6. The course will be held if the enrollment is sufficient. Successful applicants will receive an email with detailed location and classroom arrangements 7 to 3 days before the course starts. If you enroll within one week before the course starts, please contact the department immediately.
7. This course is not eligible for the Continuing Education Fund.
8. Students who meet the attendance requirements (generally 70%, but may be higher for individual courses) can receive a certificate of completion within 3 months after the course ends. Please provide complete and accurate information, including your full name and mailing address, when enrolling.

Instructor

• Mr. Daniel Cheng
• Background: Mr. Cheng is a seasoned social worker with over 30 years of experience in the social welfare sector. He holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and has studied social work and counseling at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and City University.
• Previous positions: Mr. Cheng has served as the Director of Services at the Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service and has experience in school social work, children and youth services, community development, foster care, elderly centers, family support, and employment services.
