The Bachelor of Arts in Global Creative Industries (BA(GCIN)) provides an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the complex connections between commerce and culture, preparing students to take leading roles in a rapidly expanding sector of the global economy.

Through foundational courses on the history and structure of the creative industries and specialized courses in a pathway of their choice, students explore the political, economic, and social influences on creative industries worldwide. They can take diverse courses on topics like social media, music, film, and gaming, and participate in supervised internships and overseas experiences in Japan, South Korea, Europe, and China. Graduates will be in high demand across industries, including film, design, tourism, marketing, and customer relations, with opportunities to broaden their professional networks and global perspectives.

The HKDSE Scoring Formula for 2026 Entry considers category A subjects and M1/M2 only, unless otherwise specified. The formula is: 2 x Eng + Best 4 Subjects with Weighting. The Best 4 Subjects may include M1/M2 or category C subject, whichever is higher. Subject Weighting(s) include:

Eligibility
- Non-local students with an international qualification or other national examination qualifications other than Mainland China’s National Joint College Entrance Examination (NJCEE) or GaoKao.
- Local students with an international qualification or pending international qualification other than the HKDSE.

- Hong Kong Associate Degree (AD) or Higher Diploma (HD)
