Program Overview

The Sociology, BA: Education and Society concentration provides students with the opportunity to engage in sociological analysis of education, considering its role in stratification, cultural reproduction, and social mobility. This concentration prepares students for careers in elementary, secondary, and postsecondary institutions, as well as in educational policy.


The Sociology Major
