Introduction to the Master of Public Health for Health Professionals Program

The Master of Public Health for Health Professionals Program provides advanced executive-style training in community health, health education, and health promotion for professionals who seek enhanced skills in program planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Program Overview

• The program is designed to be completed in 2 years, with classes held 1-2 weekends per month.
• It is intended to be fast-paced and demanding, yet within a student-centered and supportive environment.

Program Structure

• The program offers a cohort learning environment.
• Students have the option to complete an internship or master’s project.
• Access to UCLA graduate services, workshops, and events is provided.
• The program is accredited by CEPH, ensuring the same degree as the traditional MPH program in CHS.

Accreditation

• CEPH is a member of the Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors (ASPA).
• ASPA provides a collaborative forum and a collective voice for the community of US agencies that assess the quality of specialized and professional higher education programs and schools.
