The Art (Art Therapy) program at Arizona State University (ASU) is a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree that combines studio art and psychology to leverage art as a tool for enhancing mental and emotional health and wellness.
Program Description
This program brings together mental health and artistic practice, educating students in art therapy concepts, methodologies, and fundamental principles, as well as the history and traditions of art production. Courses include art history, art education, art therapy, psychology, studio art, and professional development, including internships, pro-practice, seminar, and exhibitions.
