Online Juris Doctor (JD) Program
The Online Juris Doctor (JD) program at Arizona State University is designed for individuals who wish to expand access to justice in the U.S. This part-time, online program offers a flexible path to gain legal expertise and advance commitment to meeting legal needs in public service or rural practice.

The program allows students to balance their studies with other responsibilities and graduate prepared to practice law. Coursework
The program consists of 29 classes, with each class lasting 10-13 weeks. The total credit hours required for the program are 88. Some of the core courses include:

Accreditation and Professional Licensure

Applicants must fulfill the requirements of both the Graduate College and the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. Admission is highly competitive and not guaranteed. The application requirements include:

Tuition
The tuition and fees rate are the same for residents and nonresidents. The amounts listed on the ASU Law tuition charts reflect 11 credits for fall and spring and 5 credits for summer, based on the core curricular plan.
