Our action-oriented curriculum combines rigorous coursework with a hands-on practicum, preparing you to lead in today’s public health environment. There are no traditional midterms or finals. Instead, you apply your knowledge right away by solving case-based scenarios and hands-on projects that create real impact in your work or community. With the foundation of the generalist concentration, students from across the country and around the world apply proven public health principles to critical issues that matter to them. An international transcript evaluation (WES, ECE, or SpanTran) is required for degrees from non-U.S. institutions for application submission. Completion Requirements
Students are required to complete 12 online courses, as well as a 145-hour practicum experience, designed to integrate hands-on training in the field.
Tailored for working professionals, the program offers multiple paths to completion:
- A standard course sequence in 24 months,
- An accelerated 16-month sequence and,
- With Academic Director approval, a highly intensive 12-month track.
