Sport and Entertainment Venue Management

Overview

The Sport and Entertainment Venue Management program is a one-year online Graduate Certificate delivered by the College of Natural Resources. It is designed to equip students with the skills needed to manage public assembly venues and operate key facilities.


Delivery Format

The program is delivered online, with courses including lecture videos, activities, and other media accessed from NC State’s WolfWare website. Students interact extensively with both the instructor and their peers using online communication tools.

Eligibility

To be admitted to the program, students must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Lower GPAs may be considered on a case-by-case basis.


Plan of Study

The online Graduate Certificate in Sport, Entertainment and Venue Management program is a 12-credit-hour program. Using an 8-week accelerated course format, students can take one course at a time and finish the program in two semesters.
