MSc Integrated Product Design

The MSc Integrated Product Design (IPD) is an advanced design programme that integrates design, technology, and research to enable students to develop new perspectives on product design. Other IDE Master’s Programmes

The Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering offers three master’s programmes: Design for Interaction (DfI), Integrated Product Design (IPD), and Strategic Product Design (SPD).


  • Design for Interaction (DfI): DfI focuses on the relationships we create between people and their world through design - the new behaviours and experiences they enable.
  • Strategic Product Design (SPD): SPD focuses on teaching students about the business context of product and service design. This can be the context of large international corporations, strong design consultancies, or start-up entrepreneurship.
