Program Overview
The Law MA program at the University of Sheffield is designed for graduates who do not have a law degree. This program aims to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of the English legal system.
Course Description
This masters qualification covers the seven foundations of legal knowledge subjects as well as the skills associated with graduate legal work, such as legal research. The seven foundations of legal knowledge subjects include:

Duration and Attendance
The program is available for full-time (2 years) or part-time (3 years) study.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum 2:1 undergraduate honours degree in any subject. International students must also meet the English language requirements (IELTS 7 with 6.5 in each component).
Fees and Funding
The tuition fees for the program are:
- Home (2026 annual fee): £11,905
- Overseas (2026 annual fee): £26,320 There are also scholarships available, including a £3,000 tuition fee discount for overseas fee-paying students and a £2,500 discount for Sheffield graduates.
