Requirements and Application
Selection Criteria
Applicants are selected based on qualification and experience. The selection procedure includes:
- Checking complete applications for background, academic records, and grades, resulting in an initial shortlist of eligible applicants.
- Shortlisted applicants are invited to take an online subject test.
- Based on the test results, shortlisted candidates are invited for online interviews.
Requirements for Studies
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree (GPA 2.5 or higher) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or accredited academic institution.
- Applicants from China (except Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macao), India, or Vietnam need to obtain the APS certificate in addition.
- Target audience: Applicants with a first degree in biology, biomedical science, cognitive science or psychology, computer science or engineering, physics, pharmacology, or a related field. Priority is given to students with excellent grades and previous work experience in the field.
Language Requirements
- All applicants whose native language is not English must show proof of English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, or CAE).
- Exempted from this proof are students who graduated from a college/university where the medium of instruction was English or German students who had English as a foreign language at a German Gymnasium for at least 8 years.
