Introduction to the BSc (Hons) Psychology Program

Program Overview
The program is a three-year full-time course that covers the main areas of psychology, including brain and behavior, perception and cognition, language and development, social psychology, and research methods. Course Content
The course content is divided into three years:
- Year 1: Core modules include Brain and Behaviour I, Perception and Cognition I, Language and Development I, Social Psychology and Individual Differences I, Research Methods in Psychology I, and Applying Psychology.
- Year 2: Core modules include Brain and Behaviour II, Perception and Cognition II, Language and Development II, Social Psychology and Individual Differences II, and Research Methods in Psychology II. Students will also study one option module, such as Psychology of Wellbeing or Psychology for the Public Good.
- Year 3: The core module is the Final Year Project, where students will conduct and write up an original piece of research under the supervision of a member of staff. Students will also study four option modules, choosing from a range of topics such as Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Psychology of Health, and Mind and Brain.
