Introduction to the BSc Management Programme

Overview of the Programme

Entry Requirements

  • Home students:
    • GCSEs: Several GCSE grades at A (or 7) and A* (or 8-9), with a minimum of GCSE English Language and Mathematics grades at B (6) or higher.
    • A-levels: AAA, including an A in Mathematics. Contextual admissions A-level grades are AAB, including an A in Mathematics.
    • A-level subject combinations: A broad mix of traditional academic subjects is preferred, with A-level Mathematics being essential.
  • Overseas students:
    • Select a country to find the equivalency to A-levels of your qualification.
    • IB Diploma: 38 points overall, with 766 in higher level subjects including Mathematics. Contextual admissions IB grades are 37 points overall, with 666 in higher level subjects including Mathematics.

Programme Content

The programme consists of 12 units over three years, plus LSE100. In the first and second years, students take foundation courses to understand the core business fields. A third-year compulsory course provides a grounding in organisational strategy. Students can also apply for an exchange year abroad between the second and third years.
