Professional Profile
The programme aims to provide professionals and young graduates with theoretical knowledge on many aspects of Large Marine Vertebrates management and conservation, starting from basic knowledge (physiology, biology, anatomy, etc.) to more specific competences, like welfare, diseases and pathology, legislation concerning Marine Vertebrates, monitoring, management in the wild and under human care, as well as communication and scientific writing skills.

Admission Qualifications
- First cycle degree and/or second / single cycle degree obtained under D.M. 270/04 or first cycle degree and/or second / single cycle degree obtained under the laws previously in force (DM 509/99 and Old Regulations) in the following fields or classes:
- L-13 (Biology)
- L-32 (Science and Technology for Environment and Nature)
- L-38 (Animal Husbandry)
- LM-6 (Biology)
- LM-42 (Veterinary Medicine)
- First cycle degree and/or second / single cycle degree obtained abroad deemed equivalent to those described above by the admission committee, for the purposes of admission to the Master.
- Candidates with scientific first or second cycle degrees not listed above may also be admitted to the selection process, provided they are in possession of a curriculum vitae et studiorum proving a qualified competence in the subjects covered by the Master.
