Requirements and Titles of Admission
To be admitted to the program, students must have a laurea magistrale in Fisica and in PHYSICS (Classe LM 17), a laurea specialistica in Fisica (Classe 20/S), or a laurea del vecchio ordinamento in Fisica. The title must be possessed at the time of the deadline.
Admission Modalities
Admission to the program is conditional upon a positive judgment formulated after:
- A written exam
- An oral exam
- Evaluation of the titles presented by the candidates
Evaluation Criteria
The maximum score that can be attributed by the Commission is 100 points, of which:
- 30 points are assigned after the evaluation of the written exam
- 40 points are assigned after the evaluation of the oral exam
- 30 points are assigned after the evaluation of the titles

Credits
The program has a duration of 3 years and requires the acquisition of 180 CFU.
Attendance
Attendance at courses and practical laboratory activities and professionalizing internship is mandatory and is considered acquired with participation in at least 70% of each training activity.
Final Exam
The final exam consists of the discussion of the specialization thesis and takes into account the results of periodic profit evaluations, as well as the judgments of the teacher-tutors.
