Objectives

The course aims to provide the methodological and content competencies for the training of professional operators in the field of administrative sciences and, more generally, in the study of Public Administrations. The course is aimed at young graduates who aspire to access Public Administrations, those who want to improve their position in the same, aspiring to managerial functions, as well as those who intend to specialize in administrative matters for free professions and business activities.

Admission Procedure

For admission to the School, a competition for exams and titles is required. The admission test consists of an oral test, which takes place online according to the University's standards on October 16, 2025, at 9:30 am, with possible continuation on the following day in case of a large number of examinees.

Teaching Location

Lessons are normally held at the School's headquarters, Via Belmeloro 10, Bologna. However, it is possible for students not to attend in person but to connect online (this form of participation is valid for all purposes for attending the course).

Mandatory Attendance

Each of the two years of the course includes at least 200 hours of lessons, seminars, and exercises. There is an obligation to attend at least 80% of the training activities for each year of the course. Derogations from this percentage can be exceptionally allowed for serious and documented impediments.

Final Exam

To obtain the specialization diploma, the student must pass the final diploma exam, which consists of the discussion of a specialization thesis in front of a commission composed of course teachers.
