Admission Requirements

• Eligibility: The competition is open to those who have obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery and are qualified to practice the profession.
• Admission Criteria: The admission competition is based on titles and exams, with a written test to be passed and an evaluation of titles (degree grade, curriculum, exams) as specified in the admission announcement.

Program Curriculum

• Credits: 240 CFU (credit formativi universitari) must be acquired for the completion of the specialization title.
• Attendance: Attendance is mandatory. The time commitment required for doctors in training is equal to that required for full-time personnel in the National Health Service, which is 38 hours per week.
• Final Exam: To obtain the specialization diploma, the specialist in training must sustain a final exam, which consists of the discussion of the specialization thesis.

• Incompatibility with Other Courses: According to Law No. 33/2022, it is not possible to enroll in two courses of higher education simultaneously, with exceptions for certain types of courses.
