Program Overview

Program Overview

The university program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in renewable technologies, environmental finance, and climate and business. The program is offered by a consortium of universities, including the University of Bologna, LMU, and UPD.

Program Structure

The program is divided into four semesters, each with a specific focus and location.

  • First Semester (Fall/Winter): The first semester takes place at the UK campus of UPD (Renewable Technologies Curriculum), LMU (Environmental Finance Curriculum), or UNIBO (Climate&Business Curriculum). The educational offer focuses on preparatory courses about quantitative tools and energy economics.
  • Second Semester (Spring/Summer): The second semester takes place at UNIBO (Renewable Technologies Curriculum) and LMU (Environmental Finance and Climate&Business Curriculum). The courses offered are focused on basic specialization courses with a multidisciplinary approach, including quantitative tools, engineering of renewable resources, statistical data analysis, and coding.
  • Third Semester (Fall/Winter): The third semester takes place at UNIBO (Renewable Technologies Curriculum) and UPD (Environmental Finance and Climate&Business Curriculum). The courses offered are focused on specialized topics aimed at providing advanced knowledge about the leading specific field, including advanced stats and IT modules. An internship/RAship pitch week is organized at the beginning of the semester, and several blended meetings help students get in touch with companies from different industrial sectors.
  • Fourth Semester (Spring/Summer): The fourth semester takes place at either one of the universities, associated partners, or external companies. The semester is dedicated to an internship or RAship experience, which will be the lead topic of the Master's thesis.
