Professional Profile

The program aims to train free-profession veterinary doctors on the most frequent topics in veterinary practice for sports horses, with particular emphasis on pathology, clinical aspects, and treatment, which can be performed in the operating conditions of practical equine veterinary medicine for all major specialties.


Notes

  • Technical Administrative and CEL Personnel: 2 places are available with exemption from paying the enrollment contribution, net of fixed costs.
  • Alumni: 1 place is available with a reduced fee (20% less than the enrollment contribution) for Alumni (former students of the Alma Mater Studiorum) registered with the Almae Matris Alumni Association.
  • Auditors: Auditors are allowed up to a maximum of 20% of enrolled students, in accordance with Article 8 of the admission announcement.

Selection Criteria

  • Selection Method: Selection by titles, written test, and interview.
  • Maximum Score: 100 points, with 20 points assigned for the evaluation of titles and the remaining 80 points for the written test (max 30 points) and motivational interview (max 50 points).
  • Minimum Score for Admission: 60/100
  • Tiebreaker: In case of a tie, the candidate with the highest score in the written test is preferred, and in case of further parity, the candidate who is younger in age is preferred.
  • Selection Dates:
    • November 13, 2025: Written test - in person
    • November 24, 2025: Oral test - remotely

Final Exam

  • Final Exam: The final exam will consist of a discussion with the examination committee of a clinical case chosen by the student and the project work presented.
