Program Overview

The Clinical Law Program at Seoul National University is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in real-world legal cases, under the guidance of experienced professors and lawyers. The program aims to educate students on the practical aspects of law, while also contributing to the community by providing legal assistance to those in need.

Program Details

Community Law Clinic

The Community Law Clinic is a program that provides legal assistance to members of the university community and the broader society. Students participating in this clinic will have the opportunity to work on real cases, under the supervision of experienced lawyers and professors.


Program Objectives

  • To provide students with practical experience in law, through working on real cases
  • To contribute to the community by providing legal assistance to those in need
  • To educate students on the practical aspects of law, including legal writing, counseling, and litigation

Program Content

  • Students will participate in legal counseling and case work, under the supervision of experienced lawyers and professors
  • Students will learn about legal writing, counseling, and litigation, through hands-on experience and case studies
  • Students will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including civil, criminal, and family law cases

Faculty

  • Professor Choi Jung-eun: Professor Choi is a graduate of Seoul National University Law School and has completed her judicial training at the Judicial Research and Training Institute. She has worked as a judge and a lawyer, and has experience in labor law, administrative law, and human rights law.
  • Professor Sora Mi: Professor Mi is a graduate of Korea University Law School and has completed her judicial training at the Judicial Research and Training Institute. She has worked as a lawyer and has experience in human rights law, labor law, and family law.
