Admission Requirements

1. Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent; or
2. Complete a diploma or higher diploma with at least one year of relevant work experience

Program Objectives

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

1. Understand the characteristics and changes of the elderly at different stages of life
2. Provide comprehensive health planning for the elderly, focusing on prevention and health

Program Content

The program consists of five modules, covering:

• Module 1: Improving and managing physical health (21 hours)
• Module 2: Positive psychological health (15 hours)
• Module 3: Nutrition and health management (11 hours)
• Module 4: Planning a healthy life for the elderly (18 hours)
• Module 5: Internship (28 hours)

Target Audience

The program is designed for social workers, counselors, elderly care workers, and life coaches. It is also suitable for retirees who want to learn how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and plan their own lives.

Certificate Award

Students who meet the requirements will be awarded a Certificate in Healthcare Planning for the Elderly.

The program is eligible for reimbursement under the Continuing Education Fund (CEF) scheme.

The program is collaborated with the "Jockey Club SMART Family" project, which provides comprehensive services and support for the elderly.
