Programme Structure

Curriculum

The programme aims to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to apply health theories essential for the effective implementation of community health programmes. The curriculum is geared towards a broader perspective on community health practice, with teaching linked to the core competencies of community health practitioners. The programme references the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, U.S.A., and the Galway Consensus Conference Statement on health promotion and health education in 2007.

Graduation Requirement

Students are required to complete at least 69 units to fulfill the graduation requirement within the normative study period of 2 years.

Experiential Learning

Induction Programme

Students participate in site visits covering government, private, and non-governmental organisations to explore professional public health practices.
