Program Overview

Royal Statistical Society (RSS) Accreditation Programme

The Quantitative Finance and Risk Management Science Programme has been accredited by the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) for the 2023/24 intake until the 2028/29 intake on a conditional basis. Graduates from the programme can apply for Graduate Statistician status with the Society by submitting a transcript to show that a satisfactory combination of modules has been taken.

Accredited Course with Conditions

• Accredited Course: BSc Quantitative Finance and Risk Management Science
  • Accreditation for all strands is conditional on:
    • At least 7 QM electives must be studied
    • At least 5 of these must be STAT modules, including STAT4003 and STAT4010

The programme is jointly offered by the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Science.
