Program Overview
Introduction to the Master of Divinity (MDiv) Program
The Master of Divinity (MDiv) program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in theology, preparing them for a career in ministry or further academic pursuits. The program is offered in both full-time and part-time modes, with a normative study period of 2-3 years for full-time students and 4-5 years for part-time students.

- Students admitted in or after: 94 units
- Students admitted in or before: 97 units
- Students admitted in or before: 99 units
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the MDiv program, applicants must:
- Present letters of recommendation from an official of their churches and from an undergraduate/postgraduate teacher or the department of university concerned.
- Submit a letter of purpose of study (around 1,000 words).
- Have been baptized for at least two years prior to admission.

Remarks
- Studied before admission is acceptable.
- Faculty Student Seminar can only be taken by students in the final year and the year before.
- Field Education is not an elective; it must be taken during term time or summer holidays. First year students can take this course only during or after their first summer holiday.
Procedure of Studying
Students should study the basic courses in Area 1 to 3, then study the more advanced Area 4 to 6. Intro. to NT/OT, Biblical Language, and Systematic Theology I & II should be taken in the first year.
Graduation Requirements
- Students must fulfil the Term Assessment Requirement of the Graduate School.
- IT Proficiency Test (Applicable to students admitted in and before).
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
