Program Structure
The program consists of five modules, covering:
- Basic Theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine: Introduction to the fundamental principles of traditional Chinese medicine, including yin-yang theory, five elements theory, qi, blood, body fluids, zang-fu organs, and meridian theory.
- Chinese Medicine for Skin Care: Application of traditional Chinese medicine in skin care, including dietary therapy and external methods for skin health.
- Women's Physiological Cycle Health Care: Health care for women during different physiological cycles, including dietary therapy and medication.
- Traditional Chinese Medicine for Pregnancy and Childbirth: Introduction to traditional Chinese medicine for pregnancy and childbirth, including pre-pregnancy preparation, dietary therapy during pregnancy, and postpartum care.
- Occupational Health for Women: Health care for working women, including stress management, dietary therapy, and exercise.
Program Objectives
Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Describe the basic theories of traditional Chinese medicine
- Explain the physiological characteristics and health care of women at different ages and during different physiological cycles
- List common Chinese medicines and their applications
- Describe basic health preservation methods
Assessment and Certification
- Attendance Requirement: At least 70% attendance for each module
- Assessment: Examination for each module
