Program Overview

Overview of the Global Law Program

The Global Law program at Queen Mary University of London offers students the opportunity to study law in a global context, with a focus on international law and its applications. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles of law, as well as the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing global environment.

Program Structure

The Global Law program is a four-year undergraduate degree that includes a year of study abroad at one of Queen Mary's partner universities. The program is structured as follows:

  • Year 1: Students study the core principles of law, including public law, land law, contract law, and European Union law.
  • Year 2: Students continue to study the core principles of law, with a focus on tort law, criminal law, and equity and trusts.
  • Year 3: Students spend a year studying law at a university outside the UK, with the opportunity to study at one of Queen Mary's partner universities in North America, South America, Asia, Australia, or New Zealand.
  • Year 4: Students return to Queen Mary to complete their final year of study, with a focus on jurisprudence and legal theory, as well as the opportunity to specialize in a particular area of law.
