Structure
The programme is divided into three phases:
Years 1 - 2
- Phase 1 (Years 1 and 2): Focuses on understanding health through modules based on the primary organ systems of the human body
- Problem-based learning sessions and clinical exposure are integral parts of the curriculum
- Students select two Student Selected Components (SSCs) based on their personal interests
Years 3 - 4
- Phase 2 (Years 3 and 4): Students spend several weeks in the Clinical Skills and Simulation Suite, followed by clinical attachments in General Medicine, General Practice, and General Surgery
- SSCs in Year Three build on the skills developed in previous years, with emphasis on the doctor-patient relationship
- In Year Four, students have attachments in various specialties, including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, and Psychiatry
Year 5
- Phase 3 (Year 5): Students develop the mindset and behaviours of doctors, working as assistants to Foundation Doctors and participating in patient care
- Students complete their SSC programme, which may include spending time in a clinical specialty not previously experienced
- After final examinations, students have the option of completing a six-week elective in Malta or another country

Entry Requirements
- UCAT: Third decile and above, SJT Bands 1-3
- A-level: AAA, including A in Biology or Chemistry, and A in second science (Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or Mathematics)
- International Baccalaureate (IB): 34 points overall with 665 in Higher Level subjects, including Biology or Chemistry and a second science subject or Mathematics
- Graduate applicants: 2:1 or above in any subject (achieved or predicted)

Funding
- Loans and grants: UK students are not eligible for student loans from Student Finance England or other government bodies
