Overview

The Màster en Recerca Biomèdica (BIOMED) is a postgraduate program offered by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in biomedical research, preparing them for careers in this field.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Títol universitari oficial de grau or màster universitari from the Espai Europeu d'Ensenyament Superior (EEES) or an equivalent foreign degree that allows access to a postgraduate university program in the country where the degree was issued.
• The academic fields of the degree must be scientific-natural or health-related.
• Expedient acadèmic with the average grade of the university of origin.
• Curriculum vitae in English, Spanish, or Catalan.
• Carta de motivació in English, explaining the interest in pursuing the master's program, with a length of between 400 and 600 words.
• Carta d'acceptació a un grup de recerca to perform the master's practices.

Optional Documentation

• Acreditació del nivell B2 d'anglès
• Carta de recomanació (academic) signed by someone who knows the candidate and can evaluate them.
• Experiència laboral in a sector related to the thematic area of the master's program.
• Experiència investigadora.
• Experiència docent.
• Formació acadèmica complementary in areas related to the master's program.
• Formació professional complementary.

Tuition Fees

• Estudiants UE: 1,302 €
• Estudiants no UE: 5,749.8 €

Additional Requirements

• If the applicant has already completed their undergraduate studies, they must provide a photocopy of their títol universitari or a photocopy of the receipt for the payment of the title issuance fees.
• If the applicant has not yet completed their undergraduate studies, they must provide a declaració signada stating that they will obtain the degree before the start of the master's program.
• If the title or academic record is not in Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Italian, or Portuguese, a sworn translation into Catalan or Spanish must be attached.
