Overview

The Master's Degree in Research and Innovation in Communication is a postgraduate program offered by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Títol universitari oficial de grau or de màster universitari from the European Higher Education Area (EEES) or an equivalent foreign degree that allows access to a postgraduate university program in the country where the degree was issued.
• Expedient acadèmic with the average grade of the university of origin.
• Curriculum vitae in Catalan, Spanish, or English.
• Carta de motivació, in Catalan, Spanish, or English, explaining the interest in pursuing the master's degree (between 400 and 600 words).
• Nivell C1 d'espanyol for students from outside Spain or non-Spanish speaking countries.
• Nivell B1 d'anglès, unless the applicant is from an English-speaking country.

Optional Documentation

• Nivell C1 d'espanyol for students from outside Spain or non-Spanish speaking countries.
• Vídeo de presentació introducing the applicant's profile and motivation for pursuing the master's degree (with a Word document containing the video link).
• Dues cartes de recomanació (academic or professional).
• Acreditació d'experiència laboral in a sector related to the master's program (at least three years).
• Acreditació d'experiència en recerca (at least one year).
• Acreditació d'experiència docent.

Admission Criteria

The selection process will apply the following evaluation criteria (maximum 10 points):

• Expedient acadèmic (maximum 5 points).
• Curriculum vitae (maximum 3 points): professional, academic, or research experience in the field of social sciences and communication.
• Carta de motivació (maximum 2 points).
• Cartes de recomanació (maximum 1 point).

In case of a tie, an interview will be conducted to break the tie (maximum 1 point).

• Estudiants UE: 1,302 €
• Estudiants no UE: 5,749.8 €
