Overview

The Màster en Indústria Farmacèutica i Biotecnològica aims to provide students with comprehensive training in the field of pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries, focusing on the research and development of medicines and biotechnological products for the prevention and treatment of human diseases.

Objectives

• The program seeks to form students in the area of companies dedicated to the research of medicines and biotechnological products.
• It aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to work in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries.

Target Audience

• The program is designed for candidates with a recent university degree in health sciences.
• Exceptionally, graduates in basic sciences who can demonstrate adequate complementary training may also be considered.
• Candidates must have an interest in pharmaceutical research and its various aspects.
• Previous merits in medical-pharmaceutical research and experience in the sector will be recognized.

Program Structure

• Duration: 1 academic year full-time or 2 academic years part-time, concluding at the end of the first trimester of the second year (December).
• Calendar: From September to June.
• Schedule: Morning and afternoon sessions.
• Tuition Fees:
  • Students from the EU: €1,302.
  • Students from outside the EU: €5,749.8.
• Places: 35.

Internships

• Internships are mandatory, with the possibility of remuneration depending on the collaborating institutions where they are carried out.
• The assignment of internships will be based on the criteria of the responsible professors.
• Full-time: The master's program is completed in one academic year, and internships are carried out during the second and third trimesters (30 ECTS of internships).
• Part-time (recommended): The master's program is completed in two academic years, and internships are carried out in the second and third trimesters of the first year (20 ECTS of internships) and in the first trimester of the following year (10 ECTS of internships).
