Program Overview
Double Degree in Political Philosophy and PPE
The Double Degree in Political Philosophy and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) is a joint program offered by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona, Spain, and the University of Groningen (UG) in the Netherlands. Upon successful completion, students receive two official diplomas:
- Master of Science in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (60 ECTS) from the University of Groningen
- Master of Arts in Political Philosophy (60 ECTS) from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra
Academic Information
The program is taught entirely in English by top researchers and scholars from both universities over two academic years, with studies taking place in both Barcelona and Groningen.

The study plan consists of two alternative options, depending on whether the student starts at UPF or UG.
