About the Programme
The Master of Multidisciplinary Research in Experimental Sciences is a postgraduate program designed for students with a background in experimental sciences, health sciences, and engineering. The program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of research methods and techniques in experimental sciences.
Access & Admission
International candidates are encouraged to apply in one of the first application periods to allow admitted candidates enough time to address visa issues and get their documents legalized.
1. Check the Admission Requirements and the Documentation Needed
The following documents are required for admission:
- Official university bachelor's or master's degree from the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) or equivalent foreign degree allowing access to a postgraduate degree in the country that issued the degree.
- Qualifications can be in the following academic areas: experimental sciences, health sciences, and engineering.
- Academic transcript of accredited official studies, including the average grade from the home university.
- Curriculum vitae in English.
- English language certificate (B2 or equivalent).
- Motivation letter in English stating the candidate's interest in following the master's program (400 to 600 words).
- The applicant must attach the form with a brief statement of research interests, the already calculated United States Grade Point Average (GPA) equivalent, and a ranked selection of the top three research projects from the list of main research projects offered in the master's program.
- A photocopy of the National Identity Document (DNI) or Passport.
Optional Documents
The following documents are optional:
- A video presentation (maximum 3 minutes) explaining the candidate's motivation, interest, and experience.
- Two recommendation letters (professional or academic) signed by someone who truly knows the candidate and can evaluate them.
- The master's selection committee may decide to interview candidates.
- Candidates may be required to meet with potential supervisors of the selected main research projects.
The Undergraduate Degree/Diploma and the Academic Transcript
If the candidate has finished their Bachelor's degree when formalizing their application, they will need to send the following documents:
- A photocopy of the undergraduate degree/diploma or certification/proof of degree completion.
- A photocopy of the official final undergraduate transcript.
However, if the candidate has not yet completed their undergraduate studies when formalizing their application, they will need to provide the following documents:
- A signed declaration of obtaining their degree before the commencement of the master's program.
- A photocopy of the provisional undergraduate transcript.
If the diploma or the academic transcript are not written in Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, or Italian, the candidate will also have to include the respective sworn translations into Catalan or Spanish.
Fee
The tuition fee for the program is as follows:
- EU students: 1,302 €
- Non-EU students: 5,749.8 €
