Introduction to the Double Degree Program in Business Sciences and Labor Relations

The Double Degree Program in Business Sciences and Labor Relations is a comprehensive academic program offered by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. This program is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of business sciences and labor relations, enabling them to pursue successful careers in these fields.

Admission Criteria

To be admitted to the Double Degree Program in Business Sciences and Labor Relations, students must meet the following requirements:

• Obtain a place in the program through the university's pre-enrollment process.
• Formalize their application specifically for this joint program.
• Students who have already initiated studies in Labor Relations or Business Sciences and wish to join the double degree program can only do so through the pre-enrollment mechanisms coordinated by the Consell Interuniversitari de Catalunya.

Matriculation and Qualification

Students enrolled in this program are subject to the same academic norms as other students at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, with specific considerations for the joint program:

• Compulsory Subjects: Students must enroll in all compulsory subjects assigned to their year in the program.
• Analogous Subjects: These are subjects that have identical content between the two degree programs. Students will only take the subject with the higher credit value and will be charged for the full amount.
• Optional and Elective Subjects: Students can enroll in a maximum of 140% of the optional credits required for the degree. They can also assign elective status to subjects initially taken as optional, and vice versa.

Regime of Permanence and Progression

The regime of permanence and progression for students in the Double Degree Program in Business Sciences and Labor Relations is as follows:

• Students have four examination calls per subject.
• To continue their studies, first-year students must pass at least 50% of the credits in their first year.
• For subsequent years, students must pass at least 66% of the credits from the previous year.

Request for Scholarships

Students in this program have the right to apply for scholarships and grants under the same conditions as other students at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. The academic requirements for these scholarships will be based on the program's academic ordering.

Obtaining Degrees

Upon completing all the credits in the Double Degree Program in Business Sciences and Labor Relations, students are entitled to receive the official diplomas in Business Sciences and Labor Relations. In case of abandonment, students have the right to a certificate of the subjects they have passed.

Formalization of Enrollment

Upon formalizing their enrollment, students must sign a document accepting the conditions expressed in the academic norms and declaring their knowledge of the joint program.
