Program Overview

The MCD3 program focuses on the in-depth study of sign languages, covering their evolution, analysis, and applied research, as well as empirical methods of analysis. The program is taught in Catalan Sign Language (LSC) and is designed for individuals with a high level of competence in LSC.

Course Structure

• Subjects:
  • Monographic topics in sign languages (4 ECTS), [2nd trimester]
  • Empirical methods for the study of sign languages (4 ECTS), [3rd trimester]

Program Format

• Modality: Semipresential
• Schedule: Saturday morning (2nd trimester, Ciutadella Campus) and Friday from 3 pm to 5 pm (3rd trimester, Poblenou Campus)
• Consult the specific schedule in the Global Classroom of each subject.

Tuition Fees

• Price: 1,000 euros
• Reduced price: 300 euros (this price applies to residents of the Spanish State and between 25 and 64 years old, thanks to the subsidy of the "Plan for the development of University Microcredentials")

Admission Requirements

• Language proficiency: Minimum C1 level in LSC
