About Program

Program Overview

The online program in terminology has a modular structure, is taught in English and Spanish, and can be completed entirely online. Starting from the current edition, the program will offer two possible degree paths:

Master's in Terminology (90 ECTS)
Postgraduate Diploma: Terminology and Professional Needs (35 ECTS)

Students have the option to enroll in individual modules independently without needing to complete the entire program. In such cases, the Institute of Applied Linguistics (IULA-CER) will issue a certificate of proficiency for each completed module. However, if a student completes all the necessary modules to reach 90 ECTS, they can receive the Master's degree.

Degree Requirements

To obtain the Master's in Terminology, students must complete 90 ECTS credits, distributed across four mandatory modules (80 ECTS):

Online Postgraduate Course (20 ECTS)
Online Postgraduate Diploma (35 ECTS)
Workshop I (15 ECTS)
Master's Final Project (10 ECTS) And two optional workshops (5 ECTS each), chosen from three available options (Workshop II, Workshop III, and Workshop IV).

To obtain the Postgraduate Diploma, students must complete the 35 ECTS credits of the homonymous module.

Program Structure

Each case is unique, and the conditions for obtaining the degree should always be consulted with the program direction. The program's modular structure allows for flexibility, with students able to choose between the Master's and the Postgraduate Diploma, or to enroll in individual modules. The program is designed to be completed online, with all materials and interactions conducted in English and Spanish.
