Specialization in Language Learning and Teaching
The specialization in Language Learning and Teaching allows students to understand key theoretical and applied issues in language education. The program focuses on the processes and practices of teaching and learning one or more languages, including language didactics, in various multilingual settings.
Objectives
The program has two main objectives:
- To provide students with a basic understanding of descriptive and theoretical models, methods of data collection, processing, and analysis, and interpretation of results, to initiate research in language education.
- To transfer knowledge to:
- Research practice
- Teaching in the classroom or online, in various modalities (preparing and delivering classes, developing and adapting teaching materials, preparing descriptive and experimental tests, training teachers, working in language education publishing)
Teaching Staff
The teaching staff responsible for this specialization develops research projects with international projection, particularly within the Gr@el research group (Language Learning and Teaching Research Group). Their research lines include didactic intervention in language learning, literacy (critical, digital), assessment, and reflective teaching practice.

Language of Instruction
