The program is especially interesting for students who want to specialize in cognitive neuroscience research and is highly recommended for those who want to enrich their careers with a solid foundation in cognitive neuroscience.
Professional Outcomes
The program provides access to a doctorate in Cognitive Neuroscience or related areas, or to join other national or international research groups (including our own).
Research Areas
The core of the master's program is composed of the research groups of the Center for Brain and Cognition (CBC) of the UPF, which are led by renowned scientists in areas such as computational neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, psycholinguistics, vision, multisensory perception, human development, and comparative cognition. Students will directly learn about current research projects at the CBC and will integrate into one of the main research lines to develop original research for their final project.
Additional Information
Given its research orientation, the level of the one-year master's program corresponds to the second year of a two-year master's program in other international programs. Students interested in our program who do not have sufficient credits to be admitted to a second-year master's program should contact the master's coordinator for more information.
