Educational Goals

The course combines the analysis of tools for protecting the fundamental rights of migrant individuals with an in-depth examination of the legal issues that arise in practice. The program will cover national, international, and European forms of protection for migrant rights, as well as the challenges that arise in implementing these tools.

Program Structure

The course is divided into four educational modules, which will analyze the following topics:

• The provision of local public services, protection of unaccompanied foreign minors, and acquisition of citizenship
• Judicial disputes in these areas and in the context of detention of foreigners
• International and EU guarantees related to the fundamental rights of migrant individuals

Collaborations

The program will benefit from the didactic-scientific collaboration of members and experts from the Association for Juridical Studies on Immigration (ASGI), as part of an agreement with the Department of Legal and Economic Studies.
