Educational Goals

The course offers a current vision of the legal guarantees, health aspects, and economic factors related to the SSN, with a particular focus on equity and universality. The course aims to illustrate the critical aspects and dysfunctions of health inequalities in different perspectives (gender, citizenship, social, and economic). The economic-sanitary module will enable the measurement of inequalities and provide a series of economic tools to bridge the differences in access to care. The epidemiology module is designed to understand the places of inequalities and their consequences on population health, with particular emphasis on the health of immigrants and vulnerable individuals.
