The Public, Comparative And International Law PhD Programme is designed to pursue the prestigious tradition of public law studies within the university since its establishment. The programme trains researchers in investigating concerns within public laws from different perspectives, including the study of the Italian legal system and comparative and international law, with specific reference to human rights.

Educational Goals

The programme focuses on the analysis of contemporary state law, including the theory of comparative constitutional law, European public law, environmental law, and the laws of economy and human rights. The PhD programme is organised around four topics:

• Italian and comparative constitutional law

• International order and human rights
