The Master's Degree in Design, Multimedia and Visual Communication is a comprehensive program that aims to provide students with the theoretical, methodological, and technical tools to design and develop innovative visual communication projects. Curriculum

    • Principles and Practices of Performing Arts (6 credits): This course transfers both theoretical-critical and technical knowledge and skills to students to analyze and create audiovisual contents in the artistic field.
    • Image and Storytelling Studio (9 credits): This course provides students with knowledge and skills to carry out a critical analysis of visual narratives, including cross-media and transmedia narratives.
    • Design Branding Studio (9 credits): This course provides students with theoretical-critical and methodological tools to know and understand as well as to elaborate projects in the field of Social and Disclosure Communication.
    • Multimedia Design Studio (9 credits): This course provides students with specific knowledge in the context of the culture of multimedia and interactive communication artefacts.
  • Second Year:
    • Information Design Studio (9 credits): This course deals primarily with the critical analysis and design of visual narratives from data and information.
    • Computer Graphics and Gaming Studio (9 credits): This course provides students with theoretical/critical and technical tools to allow students to tackle a project of complex products in the field of computer graphics and gaming.
    • Elective Course (9 credits): Students can choose elective courses from the Master's and Bachelor's Degree Courses of all the University Faculties, or from courses specifically activated by the Master's Degree Courses in Design.
    • Final Exam (15 credits): The final examination of the Master's Degree in Design, Visual and Multimedia Communication consists in the presentation of a thesis elaborated by the student according to originality requirements, under the guidance of a supervisor.
