Program Details

• The program aims to measure the transversal and disciplinary skills of university students, with the goal of improving the quality of the educational process.
• The program is part of the European reference framework for the quality of higher education and supports a student-centered, learning-outcomes-based approach.
• The program is divided into two complementary components:
  • TECO-T (Transversal), aimed at assessing general skills for all study paths (reading comprehension, logical-quantitative reasoning, problem solving, citizenship, and critical thinking).
  • TECO-D (Disciplinary), aimed at measuring the specific skills of professional/disciplinary profiles, based on national frameworks aligned with European descriptors of learning outcomes.

Participation and Evaluation

• Participation by universities, degree programs, and students is voluntary.
• Sapienza University has been participating in the Project since 2017 as an evaluation tool to support Quality Assurance (QA) processes and the continuous improvement of its educational offerings.

Timetable and Start of Lessons

• The class schedule and start date for the first semester are subject to change; please check the Orario section for updates.
• The surveys will be conducted remotely from October 15th to December 19th, 2025, on the CINECA platform, with participant recognition and management of dedicated virtual classrooms.
