Program Overview

The Bachelor's Degree in Environment and Workplace Prevention Techniques is a three-year program offered by the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine at Sapienza University of Rome. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the field of prevention and protection of the environment and workplace.


Program Description

The program is structured to provide students with a solid foundation in the disciplines of base, allowing them to understand the most relevant elements that are at the basis of pathological processes in different age groups. The program also aims to provide students with the ability to use at least one European language, in addition to Italian, in the specific field of competence and for the exchange of general information.


Program Objectives

The program aims to provide students with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes to become professionals in the field of environment and workplace prevention. The program is designed to allow students to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge, including the acquisition of behavioral and relational skills, in the context of a specific work environment.


Program Structure

The program is divided into three years, with a total of 60 CFU (university credits) dedicated to practical training and internship, under the supervision and guidance of professional tutors. The program also includes a theoretical and practical training that includes the acquisition of competences and skills in the field of prevention and protection of the environment and workplace.


Professional Profile

Graduates of the program will be able to work as professionals in the field of environment and workplace prevention, with autonomy and technical-professional responsibility. They will be able to perform activities of prevention, verification, and control in the field of environmental hygiene and safety, food hygiene, and public health and veterinary hygiene.
