This program is designed to provide students with knowledge of technologies and materials used in interior architecture, with a particular focus on innovative materials and technologies.
Program Objectives
The primary objective of this course is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and apply various technologies and materials in interior architecture. This includes understanding the technological requirements of materials and technologies for interior design, as well as the ability to read, interpret, and formulate specifications for contracts. By the end of the course, students are expected to have developed critical thinking skills and the ability to select and control the implementation of technologies and materials for interior architecture.
Program Structure
The course is structured into four thematic areas:
- Theoretical lessons on innovative natural and artificial materials and technologies for interior architecture, as well as the professional figures involved in the choice and implementation of these materials and technologies.
- Theoretical lessons on aspects of technology and material selection for fragile users.
- Exercise spaces aimed at reading the characteristics of technologies and materials through selected case studies.
- Realization of a specification for a new construction or renovation project of a building with a specific use destination.
