- FORME DI MERCATO E COMPORTAMENTO DELL'IMPRESA (Market Forms and Firm Behavior): Perfect competition, monopoly, oligopoly, and strategic behavior.
- METODI PER LA VALUTAZIONE ECONOMICA DEI PROGRAMMI SANITARI (Methods for Economic Evaluation of Health Programs): Phases of the investment selection process, elements of financial mathematics, cost-benefit analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, and cost-utility analysis.
- IL FINANZIAMENTO E L'ASSETTO ISTITUZIONALE E ORGANIZZATIVO DEI SISTEMI SANITARI (Financing and Institutional and Organizational Structure of Health Systems): Financing methods, payment systems, and institutional and organizational forms of health systems.
Prerequisiti
Students are required to have basic knowledge of mathematical analysis, particularly elements of algebra, functions, derivatives, and fundamental notions of optimization.

Modalità di esame
The exam consists of a written test that includes both theoretical/descriptive questions related to the course content and exercises aimed at evaluating the ability to apply quantitative analysis tools to microeconomic and health service management problems.

Lectures are held in person and are characterized by the delivery of content by the teacher with the aid of a multimedia blackboard. Student participation and interaction are encouraged, with moments dedicated to solving exercises for preparing the final exam.
