Overview
The Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) is a one-year degree designed for high-achieving students who have fulfilled the requirements of a Bachelor of Nursing and have achieved the required academic standards. The honours program is designed to extend knowledge and skills by allowing students to research a topic of interest. It provides supervision for a beginning researcher through individual mentoring and group seminars.

Academic Entry Requirements
- A Bachelor of Nursing degree from a recognised tertiary institution with a Distinction average in 300-level Nursing subjects.
- Applicants are required to complete a Project Proposal form prior to submitting their application, and attach the completed form as a supporting document.
English Language Requirements
The following level of English is required to gain admission to this program:
- IELTS Academic: Overall Score 6.5, Reading 6.5, Writing 6.5, Listening 6.5, Speaking 6.5
- TOEFL (Internet-based): Overall Score 88, Reading 20, Writing 20, Listening 20, Speaking 20
- UOW College: English for Tertiary Studies: Credit (weighted average mark of 65 overall and minimum 50 in Academic Reading and Writing)
