Diploma of Information Technology (International)

The Diploma of Information Technology provides guaranteed entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Business Information Systems, or Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of Wollongong (UOW). This course is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to succeed in their UOW bachelor's degree and explore various disciplines, including programming, systems analysis, networks, and web technologies. • UOW College offers three intakes each year, providing flexibility in starting studies at different times throughout the year.
  • The guarantee of entry into the second year of the specified bachelor's degrees is subject to meeting UOW entry requirements as described in the course outline.

  • English Language Requirements: Overall IELTS Academic score of 5.5 with 5.0 in Reading and Writing or equivalent. Alternative English language tests include TOEFL, Pearsons, and Cambridge. Students may be considered as meeting the English language requirements if they have successfully completed two years of secondary or tertiary study at an approved institution where the language of instruction was English, and the institution is in a country where the official language is English.
