Introduction to the Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology

The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree is offered by the College of Kinesiology. Kinesiology is the scientific study of the body in movement, involving the understanding of how and why people move and the factors that limit and enhance our capacity for movement.

The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree offers three options:

• Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology: A four-year degree that provides a broad understanding of Kinesiology and prepares students for multiple careers.
• Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honours): A four-year degree for students of proven academic ability, studying the subject at a more advanced level and preparing for future graduate work.
• Combined Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Bachelor of Education: A five-year program designed for students who intend to teach physical education at the secondary level.
