Research supervisors are responsible for assisting students with obtaining funding during their program. The minimum funding levels are:


  • Master's program: $23,000/year for 2 years
  • Doctoral program: $27,000/year for 4 years

Admission Requirements

Master of Science (M.Sc.)

  • Language Proficiency Requirements: Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants

  • Four-year honours degree, or equivalent, from a recognized college or university

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

  • Language Proficiency Requirements: Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants
  • Master's degree, or equivalent, from a recognized university
  • Cumulative weighted average of at least 70% in the last two years of study
  • Demonstrated ability for independent thought, advanced study, and research
