Program Overview

The M1 Human Computer Interaction program at Université Paris-Saclay is a two-year, full-time academic program taught entirely in English. It is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of human-computer interaction, emphasizing multidisciplinary aspects, user-centered design, and evaluation methods.

Program Objectives

• The program covers the fundamental aspects of interaction, including graphical, hybrid, tangible, multimodal, multi-surface, tactile, and mobile interfaces.
• It offers training in Virtual and Augmented Reality and their applications to video games, design, simulation, and training.

Target Audience and Prerequisites

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering. However, students from other fields (e.g., Industrial Design, Cognitive Sciences) may be accepted in limited numbers if they have excellent academic results and have undergone a computer science upgrade.
• Object-oriented programming (not just CMS) and some knowledge of mathematics.
• English level B2 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) or higher. It is not necessary to speak French, as courses are taught entirely in English.

• Certificate of English level (compulsory for non-English speakers)

• Supporting documents for a foreign language level
• VAP file (obligatory for all persons requesting a valuation of assets to enter the diploma)
• Residence permit or receipt of request stating the country of first asylum, or document from the UNHCR granting refugee status, etc.
